These Terms of Use, Course Purchase & Refund Policy (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of the Flagship Design Academy website, online learning platform, courses, educational content, student services and related services provided through www.flagshipdesignacademy.in (“Website”).
Flagship Design Academy, referred to in these Terms as “FDA,” “we,” “us,” or “our,” operates as a trade name and provides online education and professional learning services, primarily in the field of interior design and related design disciplines.
The person accessing the Website or purchasing, enrolling in, or using an FDA course is referred to as “you,” “your,” “User,” or “Student.”
By accessing the Website, creating an account, enrolling in a course, making a payment, or using any FDA educational service, you acknowledge that you have read, understood and agreed to these Terms.
If you do not agree with these Terms, you must not use the Website or purchase or access any FDA course or service.
These Terms should be read together with FDA’s Privacy Policy, which explains how personal information is collected, used, stored and processed.
FDA courses and services are available only to individuals who are 18 years of age or older.
By registering for an FDA course or purchasing a course, you confirm that you are at least 18 years old, that the information provided by you is accurate and complete, that you are legally capable of entering into an agreement, and that you will use the Website and course services in accordance with these Terms and applicable laws.
FDA reserves the right to request appropriate information or documentation where reasonably necessary to verify eligibility or identity.
FDA provides online educational courses, learning materials, lectures, videos, presentations, assignments, tests, projects, activities, mentoring, academic guidance and other educational resources through its online platform.
The exact features, duration, modules, live sessions, assignments, assessments, mentoring support and other components may differ between courses.
FDA reserves the right to reasonably modify, update, reorganize or improve course content, modules, instructors, teaching methods, schedules, technology platforms or other educational components where necessary. Such changes may be made to maintain educational quality, update content, improve delivery, address technical requirements or reflect changes in industry practices.
A course purchase is completed when you select the applicable course, provide the requested information, review the applicable course and pricing information, complete the payment through the available payment mechanism, and FDA successfully receives or verifies the payment.
Completion of payment does not permit you to transfer the purchased course to another person.
Course access is intended for the individual Student whose details were provided during registration.
FDA may require additional information before activating or continuing access where reasonably necessary for enrolment, academic administration, identity verification or certification.
Certain FDA services require a student account and login credentials. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your username, password and other login credentials, ensuring that your account is not shared with another person, providing accurate registration information, informing FDA if you reasonably suspect unauthorized use of your account, and using your account only for your own educational purposes.
Sharing, selling, transferring, lending or otherwise allowing another person to use your FDA account or course access is strictly prohibited.
FDA may suspend or permanently terminate an account if it determines that account credentials or course access have been improperly shared or misused.
Course access is provided to the Student in accordance with the course purchased and the access terms displayed at the time of enrolment.
Course access may depend upon successful payment, valid account credentials, compliance with these Terms, compliance with course-specific requirements, and continued availability of the FDA platform and related technical infrastructure.
FDA will make reasonable efforts to provide access to purchased educational services. However, uninterrupted access cannot be guaranteed at all times because online services may be affected by maintenance, technical problems, internet connectivity, hosting services, third-party infrastructure or circumstances beyond FDA’s reasonable control.
The Student is responsible for maintaining suitable internet connectivity, compatible devices and the software or technical environment reasonably required to access the course.
FDA courses may contain video lectures, audio, presentations, notes, PDFs and digital learning material, images and graphics, drawings, demonstrations, assignments, tests and assessments, projects, templates, examples and case studies, recorded or live teaching sessions, software-related educational demonstrations, student tasks and activities, and other educational material. All such material is collectively referred to as “Course Content.”
Course Content is provided for educational and professional learning purposes.
FDA may update or modify Course Content when reasonably necessary to improve educational quality, correct errors, update information or reflect developments in the relevant field.
Unless FDA expressly states otherwise for a particular course or resource, Course Content is provided through the FDA online learning platform and is not provided for download, copying or permanent offline distribution.
Students must not attempt to circumvent technical restrictions designed to prevent unauthorized downloading, copying, recording, extraction or distribution of Course Content.
All rights, title and interest in FDA-owned Course Content and materials remain with FDA or the respective rights holder. Such materials may include course structure, course modules, educational videos, presentations, notes, text, graphics, images, drawings, templates, assessments, tests, questions, assignments, learning activities, Website content, logos, branding, designs, written material, audio and video, software-related educational material and other proprietary educational resources.
Purchasing a course gives the Student a limited, personal, non-exclusive and non-transferable right to access and use the Course Content for personal educational purposes only.
Purchase of a course does not transfer ownership or intellectual property rights in the Course Content to the Student.
Without prior written permission from FDA or the applicable rights holder, you must not copy Course Content, record lectures or videos, download or extract protected Course Content, reproduce Course Content, distribute Course Content, upload Course Content to another website, platform or social media, sell or commercially exploit Course Content, share Course Content with another person, share your course login credentials, create a competing course substantially based on FDA Course Content, translate, modify or create derivative versions of proprietary Course Content for distribution, remove copyright, trademark or ownership notices, use FDA educational material for unauthorized commercial training, or circumvent technical measures used to protect Course Content.
Any unauthorized use may result in suspension or termination of access and may give rise to further legal remedies available to FDA or the applicable rights holder.
FDA may require Students to submit assignments, tests, projects, drawings, presentations, design work, tasks, exercises or other academic work as part of a course.
Students are responsible for ensuring that their submissions are their own work, except where collaboration is expressly permitted; do not knowingly infringe the intellectual property rights of another person; do not contain unlawful, defamatory, abusive or inappropriate material; and comply with the academic instructions provided by FDA.
FDA may review, evaluate, retain and process such submissions for teaching, mentoring, assessment, academic administration, quality control and related educational purposes.
Ownership and intellectual-property rights relating to student submissions will be handled in accordance with the applicable course terms and any specific written instructions or permissions provided by FDA.
Some FDA courses may provide an FDA certificate or other course completion recognition, subject to the requirements applicable to that course.
The Professional Certificate in Interior Design (PCIID) is an FDA program affiliated with Gujarat Technological University (GTU) under the applicable arrangement.
Where a course is described as GTU-affiliated or GTU-associated, applicable enrolment, academic, examination, certification and administrative requirements may apply.
Completion of a course does not guarantee employment, professional licensing, business income, client acquisition, admission to another institution, promotion or any particular career outcome.
FDA may provide sample lessons, demonstrations, previews, curriculum information or other materials before purchase.
Such information is intended to help prospective Students understand the nature and scope of a course. A demo, preview or sample does not create an entitlement to access the complete course.
Students should review the course description, curriculum, eligibility requirements and applicable purchase terms before completing payment.
Course fees, offers, discounts and other pricing information displayed on the Website may be changed by FDA from time to time.
The applicable price for a completed purchase will generally be the price displayed and accepted by the Student at the time of successful purchase.
FDA may correct pricing, technical or typographical errors before or after an order is placed where reasonably necessary. If an incorrect price is displayed due to an apparent technical or administrative error, FDA may contact the affected purchaser and take appropriate steps permitted by applicable law.
FDA may provide promotional codes, coupons, discounts, scholarships or other offers from time to time.
Promotional offers may be subject to specific conditions and validity periods. Unless expressly stated otherwise, promotional offers may not be combined or transferred and may be withdrawn or modified by FDA. A promotional code may also be limited to specified courses, and FDA may reject invalid, expired, improperly used or unauthorized promotional codes.
Where a refund is otherwise permitted, the refund amount will be calculated on the actual amount paid by the Student after applying any applicable discount or coupon, and not on the original or undiscounted course price.
Payments for courses are processed through Razorpay, the payment gateway used by FDA.
When making a payment, the Student is responsible for entering accurate payment and billing information.
Payment processing may be subject to the terms, privacy policies and technical processes of Razorpay.
FDA does not intend to store complete payment-card credentials such as full card numbers or security codes on its own systems where payment processing is handled by the payment gateway.
The Student must review the payment details, course selected and final amount payable before completing the transaction.
Unless expressly stated by FDA for a specific course or promotion, FDA does not provide an installment or EMI payment option for course fees.
The Student is responsible for paying the applicable course fee in full through the available payment mechanism.
FDA provides a refund facility for eligible courses, subject to the refund period and conditions applicable to the specific course purchased.
All FDA courses are refundable; however, the applicable refund period differs depending on the course. Eligible FDA-only courses are subject to a 14-calendar-day refund period, while the Professional Certificate in Interior Design (PCIID) affiliated with GTU is subject to a separate 7-calendar-day refund period.
The refund policy applicable to the course selected at the time of purchase will govern that purchase.
Students should carefully identify whether the course is an FDA-only course or the PCIID / GTU-affiliated program before making payment.
For eligible FDA courses that are not the PCIID / GTU-affiliated program, the Student may request a refund within 14 calendar days from the date of successful payment.
This refund is unconditional and is provided on a “no questions asked” basis. The Student is not required to provide a reason for requesting the refund. The availability of the refund is not dependent upon course usage, the number of lessons viewed, the number of modules accessed, assignments completed, tests attempted, or whether the Student has otherwise used the course during the 14-calendar-day period.
However, if a Student completes the applicable course requirements and receives an automatic or system-generated course completion certificate within the 14-calendar-day refund period, the course fee will not be refundable. Accordingly, the refund request must be received by FDA within the applicable 14-calendar-day period and before the issuance of any automatic or system-generated course completion certificate.
The Professional Certificate in Interior Design (PCIID) affiliated with GTU is subject to a separate 7-calendar-day refund period and does not follow the 14-calendar-day refund policy applicable to eligible FDA-only courses.
A Student who purchases the PCIID program may request cancellation and a refund within 7 calendar days from the date and time of successful payment. The refund request must be received by FDA within this 7-calendar-day period.
If the refund request is received within the applicable 7-calendar-day period and the refund is approved, FDA will process the refund after deducting any applicable non-refundable payment gateway, transaction, or processing charges actually incurred in connection with the payment.
FDA will initiate the approved refund within 7 business days from the date of refund approval. The time required for the refunded amount to be credited to the Student's bank account or original payment method may depend on the payment gateway, bank, or financial institution involved.
After expiry of the 7-calendar-day refund period, the PCIID program will be non-refundable, except in cases of a verified duplicate or accidental payment as provided under Section 21 of these Terms.
After the 7-calendar-day refund period, a refund will not ordinarily be provided merely because a Student changes their mind, does not wish to continue the program, does not attend or participate, does not complete the program, is unable to allocate sufficient time, finds the program unsuitable, or is unable to continue for personal, academic, professional, or other reasons.
A duplicate or demonstrably accidental payment may be considered for refund, including in relation to the PCIID / GTU-affiliated program.
FDA may verify the transaction before approving such a refund. Examples may include the same transaction being successfully charged more than once, a clearly identifiable duplicate payment, or an accidental payment that can reasonably be verified as such.
Approval of such a refund remains subject to verification and applicable payment-processing charges.
For PCIID refunds, any non-refundable payment gateway, transaction or processing charges actually applicable to the transaction may be deducted from the refundable amount.
Where any other refund under these Terms is expressly subject to applicable payment-processing charges, such charges may likewise be deducted where actually incurred and non-refundable.
The amount refunded will therefore be based on the amount eligible for refund after accounting for applicable non-refundable transaction charges.
To request a refund, the Student should contact FDA at flagship.design.academy@gmail.com.
The request should include sufficient information to identify the relevant purchase, including the Student’s name, registered email address, course name, date of payment and transaction or order reference, where available.
FDA may request additional information reasonably necessary to verify the purchase.
Once a refund is approved, FDA will initiate the refund within 7 business days.
The time taken for the refunded amount to appear in the Student’s bank account, card account or other payment method may additionally depend upon the payment gateway, bank or financial institution.
When a refund is approved for an eligible course, the Student’s access to that course will be suspended or revoked after approval of the refund.
The Student must not continue using or accessing the refunded course after access has been suspended or revoked.
FDA may also disable related course credentials and access rights associated with the refunded enrolment.
FDA does not provide course transfer facilities.
A course purchased by one Student cannot ordinarily be transferred to another person, family member, friend, colleague or another student account.
A refund, where applicable, does not create a right to transfer the same purchase to another person or course.
Except where a refund is expressly available under this Policy, non-attendance, non-participation, failure to complete assignments, failure to watch lectures or discontinuation of study does not create an automatic right to a refund.
For eligible FDA-only courses, the refund rights described in Section 19 shall apply. For the PCIID / GTU-affiliated program, the 7-calendar-day refund period described in Section 20 shall apply.
After the applicable refund period has expired, non-completion, non-attendance, discontinuation of study or other personal, academic or professional reasons will not ordinarily create a right to a refund, except where expressly provided under these Terms.
You agree to use the Website lawfully and responsibly.
You must not violate any applicable law or regulation; attempt to gain unauthorized access to the Website, LMS, server or another user’s account; attempt to bypass security or access restrictions; hack, reverse engineer or interfere with Website infrastructure; introduce malicious code, viruses or harmful software; use automated systems in a manner that adversely affects the Website; send spam or phishing communications through FDA services; harass, threaten, abuse or impersonate another person; upload unlawful, defamatory, obscene or infringing content; misuse another Student’s personal information; copy or reproduce protected Website or Course Content without authorization; or use FDA services for fraudulent or unauthorized commercial purposes.
The Website may contain links to third-party websites, platforms, resources or services. These links may be provided for convenience or educational reference.
FDA does not control third-party websites and is not responsible for their content, availability, security, privacy practices, terms or policies.
Use of a third-party website is subject to that third party’s own terms and policies.
FDA respects intellectual property rights and expects users of the Website to do the same.
If you believe that material available through the Website infringes your copyright or other intellectual property rights, you may contact FDA at flagship.design.academy@gmail.com.
Your notice should provide sufficient information for FDA to understand the work or material allegedly infringed, the location of the allegedly infringing material, your contact information, your relationship to or authority from the rights holder, and the basis of your infringement claim.
FDA may review appropriate infringement notices and take action where reasonably required.
FDA provides its Website, courses and educational services on an “as available” basis, subject to applicable law.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, FDA does not warrant that the Website will always be available without interruption, that the Website will be free from technical errors, that Course Content will always be completely current or error-free, that online services will be free from interruptions caused by third parties, that the Website will be compatible with every device or software environment, or that use of a course will result in any particular professional, academic, employment or financial outcome.
FDA makes reasonable efforts to maintain the quality and accuracy of its educational services but does not guarantee a particular result from participation in a course.
FDA courses are intended for educational and skill-development purposes.
Completion of an FDA course does not by itself guarantee employment, income, promotion, business success, client acquisition, professional licensing, government employment, admission to another educational institution or any specific professional outcome.
Students remain responsible for how they apply the knowledge and skills obtained through the course.
Where professional, statutory, regulatory or technical decisions require advice from a qualified professional or authority, the Student should obtain appropriate independent advice.
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, FDA shall not be responsible for indirect, incidental, special, consequential or exemplary losses arising from the use of, or inability to use, the Website or educational services.
FDA shall not be responsible for losses caused by circumstances outside its reasonable control, including internet failures, device failures, telecommunications problems, third-party service interruptions, payment gateway failures or other external technical issues.
Nothing in these Terms is intended to exclude or limit liability that cannot lawfully be excluded or limited under applicable law.
You are responsible for your use of the Website, your account credentials, your course participation, your submissions, your compliance with applicable law, your use of Course Content, and any consequences arising from unauthorized use of your account or Course Content.
You agree not to misuse FDA services or knowingly cause harm to FDA, its systems, educators, students, partners or service providers.
To the extent permitted by applicable law, you agree to indemnify and hold harmless FDA and its relevant representatives, educators, service providers and affiliates from claims, losses, liabilities, damages, costs or expenses arising from your breach of these Terms, your unlawful use of the Website, your infringement of intellectual property rights, your misuse of Course Content, your unauthorized sharing of course access, or your violation of the rights of another person.
This clause does not limit any rights or remedies available to either party under applicable law.
FDA may suspend or terminate access to the Website, an account or a course where reasonably necessary, including where a Student violates these Terms, shares login credentials, distributes Course Content without authorization, engages in fraudulent activity, attempts to compromise Website security, infringes intellectual property rights, uses the services unlawfully, or engages in conduct that materially harms FDA, its students, educators or service providers.
Where appropriate, FDA may provide notice before taking action. However, immediate suspension may be necessary where there is a security, fraud, legal or intellectual-property concern.
Termination or suspension due to a Student’s breach does not automatically create a right to a refund.
FDA will not be responsible for failure or delay in performing its obligations where the failure or delay results from circumstances beyond its reasonable control.
Such circumstances may include natural disasters, governmental actions, public emergencies, technical infrastructure failures, telecommunications failures, cyber incidents, internet disruptions, power failures, third-party service interruptions or other events beyond reasonable control.
FDA will make reasonable efforts to restore affected services when practicable.
FDA may update or modify these Terms from time to time.
The updated version will be published on the Website with an updated Last Updated date.
Where required by applicable law, FDA may provide additional notice of material changes.
Your continued use of the Website or FDA services after the updated Terms become effective constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms, to the extent permitted by law.
If any provision of these Terms is found to be invalid, unlawful or unenforceable by a competent authority, that provision shall be interpreted or modified to the minimum extent necessary to make it enforceable where legally possible.
The remaining provisions will continue to remain in effect.
Failure by FDA to enforce any provision of these Terms at any particular time does not constitute a waiver of its right to enforce that provision later.
Any waiver must be expressly made by FDA where required.
These Terms, together with the FDA Privacy Policy and any course-specific terms expressly communicated at the time of purchase, constitute the applicable agreement governing your use of the Website and purchase of FDA courses, subject to applicable law.
If there is a conflict between these Terms and a specific course-specific written term expressly communicated by FDA, the specific term may apply to the extent expressly stated.
These Terms shall be governed by and interpreted in accordance with the laws applicable in India.
Nothing in these Terms is intended to deprive a consumer or Student of any mandatory rights or remedies available under applicable law.
Subject to applicable law and any mandatory consumer or statutory jurisdiction, courts having competent jurisdiction in Ahmedabad, Gujarat, India shall have jurisdiction over disputes arising from or relating to these Terms, the Website or FDA services.
This replaces any inconsistent jurisdiction clause appearing in an earlier version of FDA’s website terms.

By using the FDA Website, creating an account, purchasing a course, enrolling in a course or accessing Course Content, you acknowledge that you have read these Terms, understand these Terms, agree to comply with these Terms, are 18 years of age or older, understand the applicable course purchase and refund conditions, and understand that different refund periods may apply to different FDA courses.
In particular, you acknowledge that eligible FDA-only courses are subject to the 14-calendar-day refund policy described in Section 19, while the PCIID / GTU-affiliated program is subject to the separate 7-calendar-day refund policy described in Section 20.
By proceeding with a purchase, you agree to be bound by these Terms.
